Painters were commissioned to capture the likeness of a particular person while showing an inner essence of their personality. To have one painted was—and still is—an intense process exemplifying societal status. Portraits are beautiful, memorable paintings that last a lifetime. *CONTEST RULES. No purchase necessary. The contest ends on 26 December 2023 at 11:59pm (GMT+7). Open to legal residents of Thailand, 18 years of age or older. Limit one (1) entry per person per period. Limited to one portrait per person. You can only enter the contest one time per contest period. Double entries will be disqualified. To be properly entered into the contest you must fill out the form including your legal first name, last name, working email address and phone number.
THE WINNER WINS a free portrait to be painted of someone that they admire or of themselves (valued at 598 USD + free shipping). The portrait will be oil on stretched canvas, 40x60cm. A portrait will be painted of one person only by Maria Redrick, a professionally-trained fine artist. The winner may select what person they want painted. The selection must be of a biological person. The finished painting will be shipped on 18 of February 2023 to allow adequate time for the paint to dry.
ANNOUNCEMENT of the winner will take place on 27 December 2023 at 5:00pm (GMT+7). The winner is drawn at random, which will be recorded live on the artist’s Instagram page (@maria_red_official). After the winner is announced, they will be contacted the next day and asked to provide a physical mailing address and clear reference photo/s of the person being painted. The reference photos must be of a person pictured from head to shoulders. The more reference photos, the better the outcome of the portrait.
